Central California based acoustic rock band, Threes and Nines, is the talents of singer songwriter Jake Brebes. Being heavily influenced by the blues/rock'n'roll music of the 60’s and grunge/rock/pop music of the late 80’s and early 90’s, Brebes began writing music at a very young age. In the summer of 2007, Threes and Nines opened for the alternative rock band, Violent Femmes. Femmes’ frontman, Gordon Gano, was so impressed with the young band’s performance that he approached them to produce, along with co-producer Warren Bruleigh, what is now their soon-to-be-released debut album.
